Lu Wang, the founder of Wang & Associates, P.C. (“W & A”), is an Atlanta attorney originally from Shanghai, China. He has almost 20 years of experience in legal practice in the United States. Mr. Wang has advanced law degrees earned from well-known law schools in China and the U.S. and has been admitted to practice in both countries. His practice focuses on immigration, corporate, international business and trade and family laws.

Mr. Wang made his debut as a legal practitioner as far back as the late 1980’s when he worked in immigration and international section for McKenna Long & Aldridge (MLA), one of the leading law firms in Atlanta, Georgia. There he was credited with a key role in launching the firm’s Asian practice.

Mark Ho Bio

Mark Ho is the partner of Wang & Associates, P.C. He is in charge of our China Office. Mark started his legal practice in 1994 when he joined the internationally well-known U.S. law firm, O’Melveny & Myers. He helped the firm establish its China Office in Shanghai. He also worked as the Chief Counsel for McDonald’s China Company for five years. He is currently engaged in a general corporate practice, with an emphasis on cross-border and Asia matters. Mark has extensive experience advising clients on China matters. He has advised clients from many sectors in connection with their investments and operations in China.

Mark represented Chinese and multinational companies in China, Hong Kong, Tokyo and the US in numerous transactions; for example, assisted Ford in purchasing 29% of a major Chinese automotive company by a secondary offering of B Shares at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange; assisted major US healthcare companies in establishing JV operations in China; assisted world IT companies in setting their Chinese business in China, and assisted numerous other foreign investors in purchasing Chinese assets and setting up business operations in China. He assisted multi-national companies in their Chinese investment and operations, including reorganization of China assets, relocating Headquarters from Hong Kong to Shanghai, converting many JVs into WFOEs, merging and consolidating Chinese companies, and acquiring over 500 real estate premises in about 100 Chinese cities. He provided counsel on many trademark licenses, retail licenses and franchising transactions; assisted clients in franchising deals in China and drafted and negotiated Chinese franchise agreements. He worked with clients and banks to set up e-banking systems and other payment schemes to facilitate cash business transitions. Mark represented two major Russian companies and a major Japanese company in the second and fourth Chinese antidumping cases. The final result for the Russian case was triumphant: one Russian company received a zero rate and the other received a much reduced rate, effectively preserving their Chinese markets for their products for the following five years. Mark also represented clients in litigation and arbitration cases; handled labor dispute cases.
