clients on China matters. He has advised clients
from many sectors in connection with their investments
and operations in China.
Mark represented Chinese and multinational companies
in China, Hong Kong, Tokyo and the US in numerous
transactions; for example, assisted Ford in purchasing
29% of a major Chinese automotive company by a
secondary offering of B Shares at the Shenzhen
Stock Exchange; assisted major US healthcare companies

The final result for the Russian case was triumphant:
one Russian company received a zero rate and the
other received a much reduced rate, effectively
preserving their Chinese markets for their products
for the following five years. Mark also represented
clients in litigation and arbitration cases; handled
labor dispute cases.
